Los Angeles, CA, On May 17, 2017 – Berns Weiss LLP announced that it was seeking further information about losses being reimbursed by cryptocurrency exchanges to its users who may have incurred losses due to recent DDoS attacks.

On May 9, 2017, Berns Weiss LLP announced that it was investigating potential claims on behalf of cryptocurrency exchange users who may have incurred losses due to recent DDoS attacks on the Poloniex and Kraken site.

According to David Berns, Attorney at Berns Weiss LLP, “the virtual currency/blockchain practice group of Berns Weiss LLP has been contacted by a few people claiming that their Poloniex account was made whole and that all losses associated with the sell off and DDoS attack have been reimbursed by Poloniex.”  If true, we congratulate Poloniex for taking this action without the need for potential litigation.  Additionally if true, we hope that Kraken follows suit to insure the public’s continued support and faith in this burgeoning ecosystem.

If your losses have been reimbursed from Poloniex or Kraken, please lets us know at info@law111.com.
